The Flame’s Daughter (烈火如歌) held it’s booting ceremony today with the cast and crew in attendance. Main leads Dilraba Dilmurat and Vic Zhou were in costume looking happy and relaxed. Dilraba Dilmurat and Vin Zhang Bin Bin just wrapped up filming The King’s Women two weeks ago. But, they will be collaborating for the 5th time in upcoming novel-to-drama adaption The Flame’s Daughter (烈火如歌) by Ming Xiao Xi. Along with Dilraba Dilmurat and Zhang Bin Bin, the two other confirmed leading actors are Vic Zhou and Liu Rui Lin. The story follows Ru Ge (Dilraba Dilmurat) and her complicated relationship with the three men she’s destined to cross paths with in a heart wrenching tale of love and inevitable hate… Look under the cut for more detailed character introductions! Upcoming rom-com Mr. Pride vs Miss Prejudice (傲娇与偏见) starring Dilraba Dilmurat, Leon Zhang Yunlong, and Vengo Gao Wei Guang, held a press conference yesterday where the cast talked about the film and joked around on stage.
Female lead Dilraba Dilmurat, who plays the role of Tang Nan Nan, was asked to describe her co-stars personalities within the movie. She said Leon Zhang’s character Zhu Hou is basically a big man child who doesn’t know how to express himself. Instead of simply proclaiming his affections aloud, he would do little things for the female lead instead. Dilraba feels Zhu Hou’s love is practical and less showy, but being with him would result in a stable and long lasting relationship. As for Vengo Gao’s character, Xiao Jian Jun is very romantic and direct in confessing his feelings. He would help and provide for Tang Nan Nan without a second thought, because it’s his way of loving her. However, Dilraba believes this isn’t necessarily the kind of love Tang Nan Nan is looking for and thus, Zhu Hou might be a more suitable partner for her…
Mr. Pride vs Miss Prejudice premieres on April 21st!
Mr. Pride vs Miss Prejudice (傲娇与偏见) is a romantic comedy starring Dilraba Dilmurat, Leon Zhang Yunlong, & Vengo Gao Wei Guang, with a premiere date of April 21st.
The story is about a quirky online writer (Dilraba Dilmurat) and the hilarious things that ensues after she meets a spoiled second-generation rich boy (Leon Zhang). From the trailer and stills, this looks like it’ll be a fun movie to watch!
Weibo user VIKI_SIYU known for her imitation makeup of Fan Bing Bing, Kris Wu, and Dilraba Dilmurat shared some new pictures this week of herself as Luhan this time!

Our prayers have finally been answered! After rebranding, Keep Running (formerly Running Man) is currently in the process of filming new episodes and the show will be back on air in April.
All of the male cast members (Deng Chao, Li Chen, Chen He, Zheng Kai, Lu Han and Wong Cholam) are returning, however Angelababy will be taking a break during this season after giving birth to a precious baby boy. Actress Dilraba Dilmurat has been added in place of her for the new season. Angelababy will be returning in future seasons, so it is unclear whether the addition of Dilraba is just temporary. Nevertheless, we look forward to seeing her performance and interactions with the other members.
Dilraba Dilmurat, Vin Zhang and Liu Chang completed filming for their roles in the upcoming drama The King’s Woman (丽姬传) recently. The drama is reportedly to be 40 episodes starring Dilraba Dilmurat as Sun Gongli (also known as Li Ji), Vin Zhang as Yingzheng (also known as Qin Shi Huang, founder of the Qin Dynasty) and Liu Chang as Jingke.
Dilraba and Vin have worked together in several projects before and are both signed to Yang Mi’s agency, Jay Walk Studios. This will be Vin’s first time play the male lead.
We’ll definitely be keeping a close eye on this one!
