The new drama, Lost Love in Times, starring William Chan and Cecilia Liu finished filming recently. The cast celebrated by posting numerous photos from the set on Weibo.

Synopsis:

Feng Qingchen (Cecilia Liu) is a sorceress of Mingyi Tower, the secret organisation tasked with protecting the royal family. Yuan Ling (William Chan) is a prince from Western Wei, a ruling kingdom during the Northern and Southern dynasties. Yuan Zhan (Xu Haiqiao), the seventh prince, is Yuan Ling’s biggest competitor in both power and love.

After getting to know each other, Feng Qingchen is impressed by Yuan Ling’s abilities and suppresses her feelings for the sake of seeing him ascend his rightful position. Despite Qingchen’s contributions to the kingdom, the court is vehemently against Yuan Ling marrying a woman who dabbles in black magic. Yuan Zhan launches a coup on the day of the wedding ceremony, and Qingchen uses her powers to reset the universe in an effort to prevent further bloodshed. Qingchen is eventually able to heal the rift between Yuan Ling and Yuan Zhan, allowing them to join hands to overthrow the corrupt officials and return peace to the land.

Our prayers have finally been answered! After rebranding, Keep Running (formerly Running Man) is currently in the process of filming new episodes and the show will be back on air in April.

All of the male cast members (Deng Chao, Li Chen, Chen He, Zheng Kai, Lu Han and Wong Cholam) are returning, however Angelababy will be taking a break during this season after giving birth to a precious baby boy. Actress Dilraba Dilmurat has been added in place of her for the new season. Angelababy will be returning in future seasons, so it is unclear whether the addition of Dilraba is just temporary. Nevertheless, we look forward to seeing her performance and interactions with the other members.

[Drama News] Dilraba Dilmurat, Vin Zhang and Liu Chang wrap up filming for The King’s Woman

Dilraba Dilmurat, Vin Zhang and Liu Chang completed filming for their roles in the upcoming drama The King’s Woman (丽姬传) recently. The drama is reportedly to be 40 episodes starring Dilraba Dilmurat as Sun Gongli (also known as Li Ji), Vin Zhang as Yingzheng (also known as Qin Shi Huang, founder of the Qin Dynasty) and Liu Chang as Jingke.

Dilraba and Vin have worked together in several projects before and are both signed to Yang Mi’s agency, Jay Walk Studios. This will be Vin’s first time play the male lead.

We’ll definitely be keeping a close eye on this one!

[Movie News] Zhang Yimou’s new movie begins filming

Update: The movie’s official Weibo has been created and reposted by The Great Wall’s official Weibo. The account’s first post lists confirmed actors of the movie: Deng Chao, Zheng Kai, Wang Qianyuan, Hu Jun, Guan Xiaotong, Leo Wu (Lei), and Wang Jingchun. More are to be confirmed at a later time.
